Toco came to life during the height of lockdown, not long after the arrival of our daughter, Nina. In the midst of Covid isolation and as new parents, Designers Sally and Joe embarked on a mission to create something unique for Nina and other new families. Their focus was on woodland-inspired creativity and children’s illustration, with a strong emphasis on play and learning. Taking inspiration from the playful and curious toco toucan, they aimed to capture the essence of these qualities.
